Refunds & Withdrawal
Last updated: 2025-11-19
This page explains your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (EU/EEA) and how refunds work for our digital service. We keep the process simple and fast.
1) Quick summary
- EU/EEA consumers have a 14-day right to withdraw from distance contracts.
- If you ask for immediate access to premium features and acknowledge you will lose the right of withdrawal once delivery starts, then **no withdrawal** is possible **after you start using** the premium features.
- We still aim to be fair: see our goodwill refunds below.
2) Who this applies to
These rules apply to consumers in the EU/EEA who purchase remotely from GradUnlimited. Business customers (B2B) are not covered by the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, but we may consider goodwill refunds in appropriate cases.
3) Your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you buy a subscription and do not request immediate access, you can withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason. We will refund all payments received for that order. You can notify us using the model withdrawal form or any clear statement (email is fine).
Legal basis: EU Consumer Rights Directive — reimbursement within 14 days from when we’re informed of withdrawal. We use the same payment method unless you agree otherwise; no fees for the refund.
4) Immediate access to digital content (exception)
At checkout, you can choose “Start now” to get access immediately. By choosing this, you explicitly request immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery begins. We log your consent and the time access starts.
What counts as “delivery begins”? The moment your account gains access and you start using features (e.g., answering a question or launching a full test).
5) Our goodwill refunds
Even where the legal withdrawal right does not apply, we aim to be fair. We will offer:
- Full refund within 14 days if you have not used any features at all (no questions/tests attempted).
- Duplicate purchases or accidental double charges: full refund of the duplicate.
These goodwill rules do not affect your statutory rights and may be adjusted to prevent abuse (e.g., repeated refunds).
6) How to request a refund/withdrawal
Email info@gradunlimited.com with your order email and reason (optional). Subject line: “Refund request”. You may attach the model withdrawal form, but a clear message is enough.
7) Refund timing & method
We refund **within 14 days** of being informed. We use the **same payment method** you used unless you ask otherwise. For card/stripe, bank processing times can add a few days on top of our action.
8) VAT/moms on refunds
When a purchase is refunded, we issue a credit note (kreditnota/ändringsfaktura) referencing your original invoice. This adjusts the VAT on our side as required by Swedish law. Your refund amount includes any VAT you paid.
If a partial refund is granted (e.g., goodwill), VAT is adjusted proportionally on the credit note.
